The “Corona traffic light” system
The traffic light system introduced by the Austrian Federal Government ensures maximum safety for the people living in Vorarlberg and all our guests.
It uses the colours green, yellow, orange und red, to indicate which preventive measures should be used at the regional level. The traffic light system is purely an instrument of management and prevention to protect everyone’s health. It recommends courses of action for certain regions or institutions: wearing protective masks that cover the nose and mouth, rules on social distancing, maximum number of people, tests, follow-up, and so forth. Those recommendations help minimise the risk of infection to a great extent.
However, as a guest in Vorarlberg, you are subject to the traffic light regulation of the Vorarlberg provincial government.

In principle, a safe distance of at least one metre must be maintained from persons who do not live in the same household. This also applies to closed rooms in public spaces.
